Here we will list some security and privacy-focused extensions.
In general, useful extensions can be divided into 5 categories:
Ad Blockers
The most important extension that you should install for yourself, as well as for all acquaintances and relatives, is an ad blocker. This is an absolute must-have for everyone. Here are the most popular ones:
It's difficult to recommend a specific ad blocker as they all perform well.
Some prefer the fastest Ghostery, while others are accustomed to the old AdBlock Plus.

For example, "antivirus" extensions are largely useless and only waste CPU and memory resources, and sometimes even inject unnecessary ads into the browser.
